Frequently Asked Questions

What will my child do in class?

Your child will have fun learning visual art techniques, developing specific skills and experimenting with materials for unique projects.

Class always starts with a warmup exercise. Then the teacher greets each child by name, introduces the day’s topic and guides the class through the project. The children engage with each other and share their work in a supportive environment.

Our online classwork is just a starting point for your child to build their own art practice. Please read more about our story. And see what other parents are saying on our testimonials page.

What art supplies do we need and where can I purchase them?

Each class or workshop page includes a materials list. You can purchase all supplies with a single click from Amazon or find them at local shops. All of these items are high-quality archival art materials made to last. Like cooking, the quality of the ingredients makes a difference! Students love using these materials and quickly notice that the paints are more brilliant and the paper is thicker than what they are used to.

How do I join the class?

You will receive a Zoom invitation to join the class 30 minutes prior to start time. Remember, the link will go to the email you used to enroll. Please log in a few minutes early and have all materials ready. And please set up your computer so the teacher can see your child’s hands and work area.

Do you offer discounts?

We automatically apply a 10% sibling discount at checkout if your children are enrolled in the same class. If you have children enrolled in different classes, let us know and we will send you the discount retroactively.

We often offer an early bird discount! So keep your eyes out.
